Another F*cking Waste Theme is a map I converted from Quake 2. The original map was made by [WolfeN] and full credit to him as the original author.
It's a medium sized, multi level, map. It has 17 player spawns and ample weapons and items.

There are two versions - one uses the original Quake 2 textures (wolfendm3) and the other one has a few changes and uses the central towers texture set (wolfendm3_kp).

Land of the Dead

Several years ago Cujo converted this map from Quake 2 but never quite finished it and so it was left unreleased. Recently I found it in one of my old Kingpin archives and, with a lot of help from Hypov8, was able to complete the map.

The map is a conversion of the Land of the Dead Quake 2 map that was originally made by Jester. Full credit to him as the original author.

It is a medium sized map, set in space, that uses a custom sky and all custom textures.

It has 12 player spawns and ample weapons and items.

Magnum Force

This one is a small, arena style, two level, death match map that is a remake of an old Cujo map dm_1v1biguns.

I just found Cujo's old map and thought it looked like a fun little map. But it only had four player spawns and it had a visual error plus some other minor issues. So I did a remake and added seven more spawns, totally retextured it, fixed the visual error, made the map a little larger and redid the weapon and item placement and amounts.

Little Drug 2 is a medium to large map, urban style, textured to use mostly Kingpin standard textures. It is multi leveled and has ample weapon and items.

The map is a conversion from Quake 2 map that was originally made by Cole Savage. Full credit to him as the original author.

I have remade the Welcome to Club Mayhem death match map.

The original map was a rip of the single player bar_sy Salty Dog level. It's a small map set in a bar but only had four player spawns, some texture mis-alignments, doors that needed to be activated to open and no clip brushes.

I got hold of the map source file for bar_sy from the Kingpin SDK and have remade the map.

I removed the doors and the bar counter that needed to be opened, made the bar taller so you can jump in and out of it, added clip brushes so you don't get caught on the dart boards etc. I added more player spawns, kept most of the weapon and item locations from the original Welcome to Club Mayhem map but changes some of them. I left most of the single player props in and the lighting gives the bar a nice warm and glowing feeling :)

The Abandoned Base Conversion

I have converted The Abandoned Base map from Quake. The map is the third death match level in Quake and was designed by John Romero. Full credit to John as the original author.

It's a large map and apparently is the most popular Quake death match level.

I made two versions. A straight conversion of the map keeping the original Quake textures (kpq1dm3) and a version with Kingpin textures and two small structural changes (kpq1dm3_v2)

Fear Factory

Fear Factory is a large map based on a dm map from the excellent FPS game F.E.A.R.

Basically it is a rebuild from scratch of that map. The map is set in and around a factory complex so there are lots of boxes and crates and bits of machinery situated around the map. The texturing is mainly the standard kingpin textures with the inclusion of a few custom ones (some windows and the drink machine for example).

The central area of the map is the factory yard where there are large crates and a large truck rig containing a big container. This area has several exits to the insdie of the factory where you will find many large and small rooms on two levels.

The layout of the map is very good, and so although the map is large it doesn't seem that big when you are playing it. There are weapons and items aplenty, including two HMGs and lots of tommies and shotties.

Goat's Arena

I have done a remake of my old Frag'n'die2 map called Goat's Arena.

I have made it larger by adding side rooms, retextured the main room and added platforms to get to the top of the crates that are in the main room. I also updated the number and location of weapons and other items.

I always liked Frag'n'die2 and I think this one is even better.

Tsunami

Tsunami is a small, arena style, death match map that is a tidal wave of action and fun :)

It is set in some king of container yard.There are three shipping containers spread around the yard that you can climb up on to get items.

There is a small building you can enter, a lower walkway with cracked pipes and a small side area with a dumpster and the Heavy Machine Gun (HMG).

There are thirteen player spawns and ample weapons and items. I also used some of Roarkes' great Graffiti textures in the map.

Just unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they wil lbe placed in the correct locations..

Here is a map I converted from Quake.

The map is called Sex Without A Kiss and is a smallish, urban style, death match map. The original author of the Quake version is Malevola.Full credit to him as the original author.

It has a nice tight layout with three levels. There are twelve player spawns and ample weapons and items. The map also uses a custom sky.

Just unzip/extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Immortal Combat 2018

Immortal Combat is the latest in the Frag'N'Die series of maps and is a smallish map that uses just about all custom textures (mostly from Daikatana).

It has a main courtyard area, with a ledge around the edge and walkways up to higher platforms where the HMG and some armour is.

There are four sets of stairs leading down from the courtyard into two lower rooms.

The map features screenshots of many of the players who play in the regular Weekly games of Kingpin.

It has ample weapons and items and twelve player spawns.

Hypov8 helped out with the map by designing the courtyard floor and one of two other things.

Claustrophobic Edge

Claustrophobic Edge is a smallish, classic Quake medieval style, death match map that was converted from Quake. I contacted the original author sst13 who gave his permission to convert it to Kingpin.

The map It has a nice tight layout with two atriums and three levels which are connected by stairs, 2 lifts and a teleporter. There are ten player spawns and ample weapons and items.

Just unzip/extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
